4 Days Safari in Ndutu

Overview

Each year, vast herds of wildebeest undertake an epic migration, driven by the seasonal rains and the growth of fresh grass. Following the short rainy season in November, these herds arrive in the short-grass plains of the Serengeti, particularly around Ndutu and the northern Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Here, they join zebras to graze on the nutrient-rich grasses that flourish in this region. Most wildebeest give birth in February, and the herds typically remain in this area until April, before beginning their journey west toward the Western Corridor of Serengeti National Park.
